The entire idea of technology is that it should give us more time to be human, and that includes more family time. And there are benefits like the electronic calendar that helps you remember family appointments and important dates by syncing your calendar with that of the rest of your family.

There was a time when we actually memorized the phone numbers of the members of our family and that of our friends because we needed to. There were no phones to do that for us but now you could even manage your businesses and sign contracts using tools that are available because of technology.

You may not have been born with so much technology and gadgets around, but the times we’re in demand that we know how to handle technology when necessary. Like you, I’m naturally untechy and I prefer doing things the old-fashioned way, but I’ve had to learn to strike a balance and reap the benefits of technology where necessary.

While we planned to be home for the whole summer, the Lord had other plans for us. We had committed to 6 months of praying and being in the RV to see the Lord’s leading and He clearly showed us our time was not up and we headed off to Dallas, Texas.

Money is an age old mystery that has kept a lot of people wondering if it’s really possible to have enough money. The truth is that they neither know how to make more money or to keep what they’ve made.

The Pacific NW is beautiful, but especially in the summer and fall.  It’s temps are usually in the 80s day time and nights in the 60s.  So warm enough to wear shorts and flip flops and swim in the lakes, but you’re not constantly dripping in sweat.  But apparently mother nature didn’t agree.
