Diary of a Remote RV Investor episode 26

While we planned to be home for the whole summer, the Lord had other plans for us.  We had committed to 6 months of praying and being in the RV to see the Lord’s leading and He clearly showed us our time was not up and we headed off to Dallas, Texas.

We met up with about 30 of our fellow Kingdom REI mastermind members as well as some of our board of advisors.  What an amazing time we had!!  We got to hear from Whitney Sewell about the business he has built and how the Lord is using him to help fund adoptions for families as well as all his fantastic business tips.  Then we got to hear from faith driven investor and how they have created a community just for Christians to invest in.  We also got to hear the crazy cool way Michael Flight is helping to revolutionize both digital currency and real estate through security tokens.  That was definitely mind blowing and I will have to hear it 3 to 4 more times to take it all in.

Along with all the fantastic learning and growth opportunities we had we also got to enjoy fun nights of fellowship and swimming at Dugan Kelley’s office.  The last night we also got to enjoy at suite at the Frisco Rough Riders stadium where they played the Amarillo Sod Poodles, no those are not typos they really named their teams that and no their mascots were not piles of sod.  We got to have some fun antics on the field where they teamed us up into 2 teams and we competed to get a hula hoop to the end of the line without using our hands.  There was definitely partial biased on the videographers part regarding who won, since he wasn’t filming our side to see that we finished first 😉

We had hot seats where we as a group tackled specific problems in each others businesses.  We prayed together and shared how we could support each other until the next time and sadly said our goodbyes to most of the group.  Rachel and Ken Wick decided to adventure out with us the next day and what an adventure that was.  There are 3 creation museums in the Dallas area, so after we enjoyed a fantastic meal at the Hard 8 Pit BBQ we needed to walk it off by exploring.  While none of the museums was open, we enjoyed the fellowship and made some more amazing contacts at one of the local colleges.  We may not always know the Lord’s plans far in advance, but when we are open and listening to his leading he takes us exactly where we need to be, introduces us to the exact people we need to meet, and  guides our path to accomplish amazing things we never could had dreamed up.

So we will be looking forward to seeing how the folks at Nations for Christ Institute, and specifically a gentleman named Jeff Carter, and how a donor advised fund currently being named doors to donate, all work to continue to serve and build God’s kingdom.  It is always a great time of learning, refreshment, and enjoyment and we are looking forward to October when we all meet up again this time in San Diego.
