I love exploring!! It doesn’t really matter what or where, except as I get older, if it’s too cold I’m not as big of a fan. But give me a good coat and boots and I’d go. So talking off and exploring a new area, a beach, a trail, or a nearby park is always an adventure, even if we’ve been there before. There are always new things to see.
Jonathan’s girlfriend Lisa, loves seafood. So when she found her first live clam, I suggested we take it back to the unit and o would cook it up. So we dropped it in some water, after we found out that there was no red tide and it was safe to eat, to hopefully open up. Along with some oysters as well, looking for some pearls.
But then we took off for another adventure and didn’t get back until well after midnight, so decided to cook it in the a.m. Then we all slept too late and were hurrying to pack up. I still put them on to boil, but ran out of time. So housekeeping may have been blessed with 2 new pearls, we may never know.
So now we will have to make another time to go dig for clams and have time to cook them up and eat them. Kurt likes the oysters and Jonathan doesn’t like any of it, so it usually works out where everyone finds something they like and Jon just grabs a burger 😉
One of these days we will successfully get the goeyduck but until then it’s on to the next adventure.
