Wait, what about the Aardvark? Well when you look at this picture of this bird you can see why the Trashmen wrote this song about a bird. I mean just look at it, probably quite different from what you have in your back yards, yet full of character for sure. But no really, what about the Aardvark?
Just look at that picture. We finally got to see some in real life during the day. Their faces look like mice with their big ears, their bodies look like overgrown roly poly’s, and their tail looks like an opossum’s. They are actually part of the rodent family, but quite little un assuming creatures, but oh what a fun song you could make with that.
I mean there was no real lyrics to the bird so we could make some a doozie for the Aardvark:

This could be the next one hit wonder, if any of you talented musicians want to team up, I’m game? I even have the video playing through my head already. Maybe my cousin Phil and I will do it for his kids birthday? 😊 It will definitely take on a metal flavor then.
But back to the creatures, while it is great fun to make up silly songs when you’re driving around, which Kurt does all the time, if he doesn’t know the lyrics he just makes them up. My inquisitive side is always loving the new creatures and habits they have and learning about them that are unique to all the different parts of the country. But don’t worry, I am completely over my snow white complex after the cat bite incident and no longer feel I am an animal whisperer and so give more space to these new creatures than I used to. Granted it is not as much as Kurt would like, but it is more than it used to be. That is mostly to the fact that I can’t run as fast as I used to 😊
So now I just bring along friends who are slower than me, just kidding, those friends are already staying way behind me and barely on those adventures. But it is time to go meet up with an old friend who moved across the country to join us in Florida, so on to the next adventure.
