The Diary of a Remote RV investor episode 36

Home base for us has been the Pacific NW, PNW, for lots of reasons.  After having been around many parts of this great country, it is hard to beat the beauty that is all around the PNW.  With not one but multiple mountains, Mt Rainier, Mt St Helens, Mt Baker, Mt Adams and different ranges, the Cascade Mountain Range, the Olympic Mountain Range, and the Blue Mountains, you just can’t escape the beauty or be lacking on places to hike, bike, kayak, hunt, fish, or pretty much any other outdoor adventure.  It doesn’t matter how long we have lived there; the beautiful mountains and greenery are always breath taking.  The west side of the state stays green all year long and so you never have to look at ugly brown desert or dead plants.  We have been lifelong fishermen and so have thoroughly enjoyed the abundant opportunities to catch everything from trout, small and large mouth bass, all species of salmon, walleye, lingcod, and many others.  You can flyfish, or pole fish from the banks or river, go deep sea fishing, or just crabbing, with so many options our family grew up eating a variety of fresh fish options.  Consequently, if we never eat another trout, we will be more than fine, we’ve definitely eaten way too many of those.  But good king salmon or coho salmon is so much better right out of the river, than frozen from a store and the Atlantic salmon tastes way fishier than the pacific because the waters are colder in the pacific.

Many times, we are in certain parts of the country for our real estate business and so this time was no exception.  We were starting another executive rental to help out our travel nurses and remote workers.  This time it is in the Edmonds/Shoreline area in the north end of Seattle.  It is a great location less than 2 miles from Swedish hospital campus and only 5 miles from the UW medical center.  It is a great one bedroom with a free parking space, right on the bus line and walking distance to many restaurants and shopping.  The downtown Edmonds area is a great part of town right next to the ferry where you can walk on or drive on and explore the beautiful Kitsap peninsula.

Many of our travelers find that they save a lot of money by booking directly with us and avoid all those booking fees with Airbnb and VRBO.  We have a safe and secure site to use and once they are in the system, when they travel to other parts of the USA where we have other units it makes booking super easy with us over and over.  Plus once they know of our high level of standards everything from our cleaning, to customer service, to amenities for comfort, they recognize the great value and keep rebooking. Since our executive rentals are not really set up for nightly stays, usually 5 nights or longer it works out great for families coming to town to visit relatives, or military personnel, or for medical procedures as well.  We have our kitchens fully stocked with all the bakeware and cookware needed for your stay.  Since every guest has different tastes and dietary needs, you won’t find things that could go bad or cause allergies like oils, or seasonings, but you will find a starter supply of laundry soap, and toiletries to get you started.

As we head out of town off to another great adventure in San Diego, California, we already have the first booking coming through the system, so as you can see our properties book up quickly and for extended periods so if you want to see what’s available where, the easiest way is to email us, info@americanmadehomesolutions.com, with where you would like to go and when, and one of our team members will get back to you.

Off to the next adventure!
