Wow, to think this is our 100th adventure together. I hope you have thoroughly enjoyed sharing these adventures with us as we travel this great country! Denver is a great city and if you stay long enough, sometimes as long as 30 minutes you can experience 4 different weather patterns come through. The gorgeous Rocky mountains stand as sentinels, that cause this quick changing weather patterns. But since some of you are not from the Denver area or have never seen the Rocky mountains, let me give you a bit of background.
The Rocky mountains are the largest and tallest mountain range in the United States that run North to South and form the continental divide. This means that if you are on one side of it the water in your drain will flow to the right and if you are on the other side of it, the water will flow to the left. It is these mountains that caused Lewis and Clark’s expedition so much trouble. Many of you may be familiar with the Appalachian mountains on the east coast, but most of the folks in the west, don’t really even call them mountains, they are more like hills in comparison. This picture is very hard to see, but the Rockies are so large they always have snow on them year round. They are absolutely stunning.
One of the things I have noticed as I drive all around Denver is how much absolutely explosive growth has happened in the area. They have entire new cities like Highlands Ranch that is just over 100,000 people now. While the area is growing so quickly, it is also a great place for new businesses, so I was excited to be able to visit with another mastermind member of ours and his amazing family.
Andrew Kuntzman, is a fellow real estate investor who has also started an insurance business as well in the area. Right now he is only doing personal home, auto, and life insurance, but he is already working towards commercial insurance to work more closely with businesses. His heart for the Lord and his commitment to his family is what instantly connected us. His integrity is what made us friends. It was such a blessing to finally be able to meet his beautiful bride and his children and support the fantastic coffee shop, Sapor Coffee and Concepts, in Denver.
This fantastic shop right off Speer and 27th was the best place to meet and connect. They have a tremendous selection of great coffee and non coffee. Like a salted brown sugar Thai tea latte, I had that it was amazing, or peach jalapeno cold brew, or desert tonic with espresso and kombucha. This is not your ordinary coffee, but it is worth the drive to go and try it out.
Well like always, my time is too short, because I have other adventures still awaiting me, but I am so thankful for the sweet time I got to have visiting my mom and reconnecting with friends. I have far more friends in Denver and I rarely have time to visit them all, so next time it will be their turn and I look forward to that.
Until the next adventure….
